So from last nite, I realised that story telling during bedtime is a best time for us to be closed with our baby..he..so I to hv an idea what story to be told to my baby, I hv to read a lot of book..:)
nnt umi abes bc buku ni..umi cerita dekat Iqram ye cyg...:)
You don't have to memorize the story dear...
ReplyDeleteBedtime stories are usually read to them, not told...
Have your baby on your lap, and have the story book in front of both of you... that's a nice way to make sure that the child's attention are kept on the book. The child will listen to your pronunciation, tone, and look at the pictures in the book. He may not understand a single word you say at first, but in the long run, he'll definitely learn something.
Besides, this activity or routine (if you actually make it a routine) will help instil reading habit in your child, something very important for a child to have in order to survive education world when they are old enough to go to school. Something that sadly, most children nowadays are lacking.
When you don't read enough, you don't learn enough. Let that not be our child...
